Allium Asylum Volumes 1-3
A downloadable game for Windows
(12/13/24)
VOLUME 3 IS OUT NOW!!
The third chapter of this story, complete with new fights, mechanics, and music, is now available to download and play! (V0.30)
-------------------
A young child named Allium wakes up in a dark void with no memories, only the realization that she's been trapped in a quirky retro indie RPG. She meets wacky characters and engages in unique bullet-hell style battles as she traverses others' Dream Worlds in hopes of finding reality.
-------------------
Many of the visual assets in this demo are placeholder and will likely be refined later.
I have plans to make the game less linear, as right now I have been focusing on programming in the major story beats and the major battles, hence why the demos are pretty barebones in terms of exploration and side content. After the major parts throughout the entire game are programmed, I will go back and add exploration, side quests, mini-games, etc. like a true RPG.

(12/5/24) Version 0.25 has released, including several major updates to the first two Volumes in anticipation of Volume 3's release. This is the perfect way to replay the game before Vol. 3 releases soon...
You can download the new update for Windows below, or play it through the web browser with the usual link. You'll know if you're on the right version if it says "V0.25" in the bottom right corner of the title screen.
V0.25 Changelog:
- Added dialogue to battles! When you select Attack, there is now dialogue between Allium and the opponent, leaving more opportunity to get to know the characters before you uh defeat them. Essentially, its new story content seamlessly woven into the original Vol. 1 and 2. If you die and have to repeat a battle, you can hold X to skip through the dialogue.
- Speaking of skipping dialogue, you can now press X to fast forward dialogue throughout the game! You should still read the dialogue tho its fyre trust me bro.
- The game over screen has been updated, Mallium now has randomized different dialogue talking smack about how bad you are at the game.
- The title screen music is updated to the one from the Vol. 4 OST, as opposed to the annoying looping one from before.
- The placeholder Undertale Intro sound effect was replaced with a new original sound.
- The hit/damage sound effect in battles has been lowered in volume to not overwhelm the background music.
- Noise is disabled by default.
- Text has been updated throughout the game, fixing small typos here and there.

Don't have a Windows PC? Cringe. You can still play the game in your browser HERE, BUT if you do have Windows I humbly request that you download the thing because it's valuable to test it out running locally. Also it performs better locally. Thx ^^
